I didn't get around to planting summer herbs this year so I thought I'd try out some vegetables in my recently constructed but not yet used vertical patio trellis planters.
So far the lettuce seems to be doing the best. The beets look promising as well and the green onions seem to have some potential. The peppers though sadly never took.
This evening I actually transplanted the lettuce seedlings from the original pot into 3 planters (a new long planter, the one that had the peppers and then some back into the original holder). We'll see how they do!
