Meatless Mondays...for now

Let's see how long this lasts...

I've decided to try and eat vegetarian one day a week. In general, I don't think I eat enough fruits and vegetables (or drink enough water, but that's going to have to be another 'project') so I've been trying to have a vegetarian meal here and there. I always forgot or just decide that a meat dish sounds (and generally tastes) better and opt out of say the vegetable lasagna for the meatier version.

Since the swapping out a meal or two wasn't working...I thought I'd start implementing Meatless Mondays. Today is Monday #1. So far...so good...but I think I'm going to have to really make an effort to remember each Monday. For example, this morning I grabbed leftover pizza with pepperoni and sausage out of the fridge for breakfast and sadly had to put it back (giving myself some credit though since it technically did also have mushrooms, onions, and peppers on it).

Like I said, we'll see how long this continues.

Indulgence

3 people + 6 desserts on Friday night = A second trip back on Sunday for the cookies and rice krispy treats that were left out before

What a great idea...only one choice listed on the menu: Salad, Steak, and Fries.And let's not forget a second helping included in the price of your meal!
